Use the Activity Checklist to keep track of your progress. Click on each box along the way.
The Activity Plan can be filled out either online or by using the PDF format and e-mailing it to the Wilmington Health Planning Council.
Whether you work or volunteer for a local business, a voluntary
health organization, an education organization such as a school
or training agency, a faith-based organization, a health care organization,
or a local or state government agency, there are activities and
examples in the Healthy Wilmington Preventive Health Guide to provide
you with ideas and resources to get you started or enhance your
existing health promoting activities.
Once you decide on your target objective, select one or more activities
to help accomplish that objective and complete the activity checklist.
Contact several of the listed organizational resources to obtain
further information and ideas and to partner on Healthy Wilmington
2010 Activities.
Some examples of activities are:
- Neighborhood group or association reducing violence through
a neighborhood watch program or sponsoring a community health
promotion series.
- Local business providing health promotion programs/services
for employees or contributing to a local health organization or
initiative.
- Local fraternity/sorority sponsoring expanded recreational activities.
More examples can be found in the HW2010 Preventive Health Guide.
